What a night!
If you were anywhere near Taipan on Sunday, September 14th, you probably heard the celebration before you saw it. Yesterday, we officially marked a major milestone—10 Years of Uncle Don’s—and we did it the only way we know how: with great food, cold drinks, and the best community in Malaysia.
From 5:00 PM until way past 1:00 AM, our Taipan outlet was transformed into a festival of music, laughter, and non-stop “Dine Like a Don” energy. Here is a look back at the highlights of an unforgettable evening.
The Vibe & The Beats
The atmosphere was electric from the moment the doors opened. Our live band kept the crowd on their feet, playing everything from classic rock anthems to today’s hits. It wasn’t long before the whole restaurant was singing along—proof that good food sounds better with great music.
Survival of the Hungriest: The Fun Eating Contest
Things got messy (and hilarious) during our Fun Eating Contest. Contestants went head-to-head to devour our signature dishes in record time. The competition was fierce, but only the hungriest survived to claim the bragging rights—and the prizes!
We also tested your Uncle Don’s knowledge with our Live Quizzes. It turns out we have some die-hard fans who know our menu even better than we do!
Crowning Our Champions
One of the biggest moments of the night was the Influencer Contest Results Announcement. We have been blown away by the creativity and support from content creators over the past few months. A huge congratulations to our winners who took home the grand prizes—your content truly captured the spirit of Uncle Don’s.
The Party Didn’t Stop
As the clock struck 1:00 AM, the main event might have ended, but the celebration was far from over. The After Party kicked into high gear, keeping the drinks flowing and the vibes high well into the early morning.
